R. Newcomb Stillwell, Board Chair

Newcomb retired as co-managing partner of Ropes & Gray’s Boston office. He principally represented private equity firms in mergers and acquisitions and served as the first chair of the firm’s Private Equity Group.

Newk began his involvement with the MHS in 2012 as a member and served as an Overseer beginning in 2014, then as Trustee in 2015. He became Chair of the Board in 2021.
